Waterhouse Women- Chapel Road Stamps Hello to my wonderful blog friends...I created this card for my wonderful niece Allicia and I wanted to share it with you.  I started with plain white cardstock and distress inkpads.  I randomly put weathered wood, bundled sage & tattered rose on a non-stick craft sheet.  I lightly misted it, swirled it slightly with my finger to blur the pad lines and then laid my c/s on.  I pressed firmly and then lifted it away.  It was then spritzed lightly to create small droplets and set aside to dry.  When dry I took Impression Obsession's Cover a Card Craquelure stamp and inked it up with chipped sapphire Distress ink.  I stamped it over the background and then the whole piece was misted with Perfect Pearls bronze mist.  I punched the corners of the background paper with the southwest punch and then mounted it on a 6x6 piece of chipped sapphire Distress cardstock.   I then stam...

Hello wonderful blog friends.  This card today was fun to make.  I made it for my husband's cousin for his birthday.  He loves classic cars so this was perfect.  I t is a 6.5" square card that is basic black from Stampin'Up!  I used white cardstock and laid the TCW stencil flames on it and sprayed red Smooch Spritz.  I stamped the car(Class Act Inc.) with Versa Mark and heat embossed it in black.  It was  coloured with Tombow markers and cut out.  The cut out car was mounted on black cardstock and then cut out with a 1/4 to 1/2 inch border around it.  It was popped up with foam dots on the flame paper. The corners were cut with a tag punch and finally, the red dots were made with red pearl pen from Viva Décor.  Voila! One classy card for one Classic car fan.  Here is the recipe: Cardstock- Basic Black, Whisper White (Stampin"Up!) Stamp- Class Act Inc.   Accessories- tag punch(Stampin'Up!), Viva Décor Pe...

Introduction

My name is Sheree Timmermans and I am so proud to be sharing with you cards, scrapbook pages, tips and techniques in paper crafting. I have been a crafty person most of my life. I enjoy ceramic painting, crocheting, knitting & macramé, but my passion is scrapbooking and card making. I have been paper crafting for more than 8 years. It all started with a Caribbean cruise, some photos and the desire to do more than hide them away in a photo album. I wanted to remember what I was thinking and my feelings at the moment the photo was taken and so began my exciting journey of scrapbooking. I became intrigued with what else could be done with paper and that is when I discovered the wonderful world of card making. I have a dear hubby to whom I have been married to for thirty years. I adore him. He is wonderfully supportive and caring and I know he enjoys the creative process in my scrapbooking and card making and seeing the final result. I hope you to will enjoy following me on ...
